Help with transportation for the
event
Saturday noon–2:30, help load tables, chairs, supplies onto our trucks.
Saturday 2:30–4 p.m., help unload trucks at Aquatic Park.
Saturday 9:00–11:30 p.m., help load trucks and unload at storage
Volunteer at the event
Saturday 3–6 p.m. (or any part of that time), help set up the site (north end of Aquatic Park).
6–9 p.m., during event: assist with
lantern-decorating tables, assemble and launch lanterns, etc.
9–10 p.m., collect-disassemble lanterns, clean up site (MAJOR NEED).
Teach origami crane folding at the event
Coordinate an area at the event
If you have leadership experience,
especially overseeing volunteers, we need you!
(Example: oversee assembly and
launching of lanterns. Fast-paced, exciting, with lots of people and
activity at once.)
